Anderson Farm Center

The Anderson Farm Center joined the MAFPG network in 2019. The garden is led by Anderson Park Friends, Inc. (APF) and their partner, Oregon Area Food Pantry. The current “garden” consists of two components:

  1. 1/4-acre in-ground garden (established in 2020 and expanded in 2021)

  2. 8 raised vegetable beds

In 2023, over 2,000 pounds of fresh produce (more than 15 vegetable varieties) were grown for three food pantries located in Oregon, Belleville, and Badger Prairie Needs Network (Verona). Volunteers provided over 600 hours of time towards this project
